Strategic Advisory Committee

The Strategic Advisory Committee is the main source of expert advice for the 45 and Up Study. The aim of the Strategic Advisory Committee is to provide advice to the Internal Management Committee and the Sax Institute Board about issues key to the long term success and sustainability of the 45 and Up Study.

Membership

Members are externals individuals with specific expertise; the chair will be appointed by the Sax Institute Board. Members will include persons with expertise in:

• Science
• Community perspectives
• Governance and management of research infrastructure and research
• Legal, ethical and privacy issues relating to health research

Two members of the Board of the Sax Institute will be members; one member of the Partners’ Panel will be a member. Other members will be appointed by the CEO with advice from the Chair of the Committee.
