Project Aim(s):
The main objectives of this phase of the project are to:
- characterise the current morbidity profiles and service utilisation patterns for study participants aged 50 to 65 years from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds at baseline in contrast with their Australian-born, non-indigenous counterparts
- estimate the current care needs and model future projections of healthcare requirements of these study participants
- identify and measure particular modifiable determinants of service usage, pro-active health behaviours (eg, screening, physical activity) and health outcomes in CALD participants
