Project aim(s):
Using a self report survey and face-to-face individual interviews this project aims to:
- Investigate the health status of older frail men
- Identify formal and informal supports accessed by older frail men
- Determine the predictors of receiving formal services in the home for older frail men
- Explore the attitudes of older frail men to seeking assistance outside stance in the home
- Explore the perceptions and experiences of older frail men with the formal and informal services that they access
- Identify the factors contributing to older frail men seeking assistance or agreeing to receive assistance in the home
