Risk factors of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in 45 and Up Study

Project aim(s):

To investigate potentially modifiable- or under-researched risk factors of BPH in the 45 and Up Study. These include lifestyle, demographic and baseline health factors, with a particular focus on:

1)         Investigation of factors in relationship with BPH where findings to date are mixed or where evidence is limited

2)         Investigation of unique factors of interest included in 45 and Up Study that have not been assessed in this regard before
