Project aim(s):
Dr Fiona Blyth Director of Clinical Epidemiology at the Sax Institute leads this project investigating the current increased trend in the use of opioids for chronic non-cancer pain and the significant concern that surrounds the efficacy and adverse event profile, as there is no evidence of efficacy for long-term treatment of chronic non-cancer pain.
