Lifestyle influences on autoimmune and inflammatory diseases

Project Aim(s):
This project aims to determine the association between lifestyle factors such as dietary practices and physical activity with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases in a large population of Australian adults. Utilising data from the baseline 45 and Up Study, the team is investigating whether lifestyle variables confer protection or risk of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, while statistically controlling for possible confounding variables in multinomial logistic regression analyses.
