Impact and burden of chronic musculoskeletal conditions in Australia

Project aim(s): 

This project will use data from the 45 and Up Study baseline questionnaire to quantify the burden and impact of currently treated osteoarthritis, and in particular severe disease which has resulted in joint replacement surgery. Specifically, the aims of the project are to:

  • Describe the burden of chronic musculoskeletal conditions
  • Quantify the impact of chronic musculoskeletal conditions
