Health service utilisation and financial costs associated with long-term adult-cancer survivorship

Project aim(s):

The aim of this project is to evaluate the impact a cancer diagnosis has on long-term health service utilisation, the financial burden to the health system and the personal costs for seeking such services. Specifically, investigating changes in these outcomes over time in a cancer survivor cohort and also compare differences between cancer survivors and non-cancer participants matched on selected demographic criteria.
