Factors associated with physical activity behaviour, prolonged sitting time and weight status among chronic disease populations in the 45 and Up study Australia.

Project Aim(s):

  • To identify factors associated with physical activity (PA) behaviour, prolonged sitting time and weight status in three different chronic disease groups.
  • To compare the factors associated with PA behaviour, prolonged sitting time and weight status of each chronic disease group with the non-chronic disease population in the 45 and up study.
  • To compare the factors associated with PA behaviour, prolonged sitting time and weight status between three chronic disease groups (1) cancer survivors; (2) individuals with diabetes (type 2); and (3) heart disease.
