Management Committee
The 45 and Up Study Management Committee brings together representatives from the Community and Ethical Oversight Committee, the Scientific Advisory Committee and the Partners Committee, to advise the Sax Institute management and Board on the appropriate conduct of the Study. This committee meets four times each year

Terms of reference
There terms of reference for the Management Committee are to:
- monitor the progress of the Study against key performance measures and milestones
- oversee the development and implementation of a risk management plan for the Study
- provide advice to the Board and CEO of the Sax Institute about issues key to the long term success of the Study. These will include but are not be limited to strategies to ensure:
- Scientific rigour
- Adequate funding and infrastructure
- Effective management of partnerships
- High quality research governance
- Appropriate use of the data
